Why Does My Adult Child Challenge My Independence With Manipulative Tactics?

The Relationship dynamic has changed because the Senior has aged and the child is now an Adult; however, the heart status remains constant, in that the parent and the child still love each other. Problems arise when the Adult child fails to realize that the aged parent desires to maintain their independence which provides dignity and self-control in their own life.
