The Future of Elderly Care – Healthcare Denmark
#HEALTHCARE #DENMARK #ELDERLY
By 2040, one in four Danes will be 65 years or older. In order to keep a larger elderly population healthy and independent in the future, Denmark is moving towards more efficient elderly care, which empowers and supports senior citizens to stay healthy in their own home. This video illustrates how assisted living technology contributes to a more efficient elder care sector and empowers senior citizens.
Good opportunity
There is a beauty of being older,
I heard the best country for senior is norway, sweden, us, nederland. I am not sure if USA should be in this list
This is a great idea!!! Finally someone thought of something futuristic for the aging population.
Woow so nice for sure it’s safe and comfortable to the elderly..hope I can find job there😊..Godbless Denmark
The Elderly Reservoir of Blessings is necessary to maintain,,, God Bless Elderly Danes,,,
It’s called a nursing home, Shag apartments for the elderly or an assisted living facility out here in the USA, this is literally nothing NEW.
Beautiful
My mom is elderly and she’s starting to have different needs. I need a course to care for her because unfortunately we are not in Denmark.

Matthew 25:36 For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, 36I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?…
There’s a couple places in the U.S. (Aegis Living in Seattle / San-Antonio, Treehouse Community Village in Massachusetts ), that are trying to create a more community type center where young and old help each other.
In the U.S., most of the healthcare costs goes towards prolonging a terminally ill patient by a year… it would be nice if some of that money would instead go to developing senior communities that people wouldn’t dread. The culture around death itself needs to also change.
How expensive are the care facilities in Denmark compared to the Netherlands (ex. Hogeweyk Dementia Care Center in Amsterdam)… or Mexico (Chapala, Ajijic , Chipilo , San Miguel, San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, Rosarito), or Thailand ( Chiang Mai care village, and the surrounding area , Baan Nor Lae, Martin Woodley)?
